Holy Trinity Column
The Holy Column of the Holy Trinity is located in Olomouc, the eastern city of the Czech Republic. It was built in 1716 and is a large group of baroque sculptures in the Czech Republic. The Holy Column was built to hold a grand Catholic ceremony of thanksgiving for the cessation of the Black Death that struck Moravia from 1714 to 1716. The Holy Trinity is one of the main teachings of Christianity, that is, it contains the three persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Trinity Pillar is a typical example of such buildings. This holy column is 35 meters high and decorated with many exquisite religious carvings. An overall good experience with lots of historic reference s. Takes atleast 2-3hrs if you don't want to skip exhibition s. The musuem is open until 18:00 so plan accordingly. Many references only have a german description written next to them, but overall it is English friendly. Would only recommend this place if you are a big art enthusiast, and not just going in for a casual tour. The museum right next to it (natural history musuem) will be a better choice then.

Beautiful place, gorgeous garden and beautiful atmosphere. Great coffee shop where you can have a break.
