Things to do in Nanning

Qingxiu Mountain is a rare green lung in Nanning, and as a 5A-level scenic spot, the overall experience exceeded expectations. The entire mountain is lush with trees and diverse vegetation, offering picturesque views at every turn. The Longxiang Pagoda stands majestically on the mountain, offering panoramic views of the Yong River and city skyline. The Guanyin Temple is ancient, solemn, and serene, perfect for a tranquil stroll. The Orchid Garden is elegant, with flowers blooming year-round, and its landscaping is exquisite. The scenic area boasts well-developed trails, clear sightseeing bus routes, and ample rest stops. It offers opportunities for hiking, breathing in fresh air, connecting with nature, appreciating ancient architecture, and admiring flowers and plants, making it ideal for family outings or weekend getaways. Hidden amidst the bustling city, this tranquil mountain forest, untouched by excessive commercialization and offering a relaxed pace, is a must-visit destination in Nanning.

This was my first time visiting Nanning Botanical Garden & Qingxiu Mountain. It was indeed very large, very green, and very comfortable. I walked around for more than four hours without feeling tired. I didn't take the shuttle bus out until I got hungry at 4 pm. It's a great place worth visiting many times. Northerners love it.

This was fantastic! Who says kids won't have fun? From 10 am to 10 pm, there wasn't a moment of boredom—a packed schedule of activities and incredibly enriching experiences! I will always be a fan of Fantawild!

The exhibits are plentiful, concentrated on the second and third floors, but unfortunately, the museum doesn't limit visitor numbers, making it impossible to sit still and appreciate them at a leisurely pace. I suggest following the example of other provincial museums and changing the reservation system to two-hour time slots—limiting the number of visitors would significantly improve the experience. Also, the smell of recent renovations in some exhibition halls is quite strong.

Nanning Zoo is definitely worth a visit! 👏 They have a wide variety of animals, including the famous gorilla and giant panda, and there are also rides and attractions! It's great value for money, the park environment is nice, and it's suitable for families with children. Highly recommended! 👍

It's definitely worth a visit. You can sit on the boat, feel the breeze on the Yong River, and watch a thrilling iron-smelting performance. After the boat trip, you can use your ticket to go to the fire show site to watch the iron-smelting performance up close again. It's a very worthwhile experience!

Starting point: Exit F of Chaoyang Square Metro Station → Nanning Historical Museum. The facade of the Republican-era Western-style building is very photogenic. It was closed the day I visited, so I could only take pictures of the exterior. Next, I visited the Deng Yingchao Memorial Hall, City God Temple, Jinshi Lane Ancient Residences, Lijiang Academy, Yinshi Lane Oil-paper Umbrella Street, Zhonghua Grand Theater, and Xingning Road Arcade. The retro facades and neon signs created a fantastic atmosphere. After that, I went to Changyou Pavilion to see the Yongjiang River view. If you're just casually strolling around, an hour should be enough. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the area, and you could easily spend half a day there.

Buying tickets and getting in was very convenient. They have shuttle buses available for only 260 yuan per day. The park is quite large, and everyone was happy riding electric bikes with my parents.

The show was great, the sea lion and dolphin show was fantastic, and there were also various kinds of fish to watch, as well as polar penguins. I brought my child here today, and the child had a wonderful time.
