"Mevlana" means "our master," a title of respect given to him by the world, from which the museum takes its name. The site was originally a rose garden gifted by the Seljuk Sultan. Everything was amazing... I was impressed that the Quran from around the 4th century was well preserved and exhibited. There didn't seem to be any particular dress code, but you do need to wear shoe covers, which are distributed at the entrance before entering. There are people praying inside, so it's best to stay quiet and wear clothes that expose as little as possible.
