The area north of Tianchi Lake in Changbai Mountain is known as the North attraction of Changbai Mountain. There are more attractions here than on the West Slope and South Slope, but there are also more visitors.attractionThe Changbai Mountain Waterfall, Julong Spring, and Valley Forest are all classic geological wonders. You can also take a shuttle bus to experience the rapid curves and then overlook the beautiful scenery of Changbai Mountain Tianchi from the steep main peak. Upon entering the attraction, you must first take an eco-friendly bus to the transfer center. From there, you can choose to take the shuttle bus on the left-hand road to view the main peak and Changbai Mountain Tianchi Lake, or take the eco-friendly bus on the right-hand road to view Changbai Waterfall. If the weather is good in the morning, you can go up to the main peak first when there are fewer visitors and take the shuttle bus (usually a Mercedes-Benz van, 20 minutes one-way) to experience the thrill of continuously and rapidly navigating the curves on the winding mountain road. After getting off the shuttle bus, it's about a ten-minute walk uphill to the top. There are two routes, A and B, with signs indicating them. Usually, you take route A to the top and then continue on route B to descend, avoiding backtracking. If time is limited, you can complete route A and then descend directly via the steps between the two routes. Take the eco-friendly bus from the transfer center directly to the waterfall parking lot (10 minutes one-way). Walk up the boardwalk for a short distance to see Julong Spring and Changbai Waterfall. That waterfall is the outlet of Tianchi Lake, and its 68-meter drop is truly spectacular. The hot spring plaza here sells uniquely flavored hot spring eggs, which you can try. You can also wash your hands in the nearby hot spring pool and experience the volcanic hot spring. It's a five-minute drive from the waterfall parking lot by eco-bus.Little Heavenly Lake,Little Heavenly LakeIt's a tranquil little lake, its surface reflecting the elegant forms of the trees. After lingering for a few minutes, you can return along the boardwalk, where you can see the Erdao Baihe River flowing through the narrow canyon. After about 15 minutes of walking, you'll reach the entrance to Green Abyss Pool. There's a large restaurant called Lanjing Fast Food here that offers lunch; it's located within the attraction, but the prices are relatively high. Green Abyss Pool is a pool of emerald green water, with a waterfall cascading down the cliff on one side. On the way back along the boardwalk after visiting Green Abyss Pool, you'll see Jade Spring. From the parking lot in front of Blue View Fast Food, it's a five-minute drive to...Entrance to the Valley ForestStrolling along the boardwalk through the primeval forest is very pleasant. At the end, you can overlook the forest that sinks into the valley, but you cannot go down to the bottom of the valley at present. The valley forest is the closest scenic spot to the mountain gate. It is about a 40-minute drive from the attraction.Erdaobaihe TownIt's a major tourist hub, with various hotels, shops, restaurants, and bars, all reasonably priced. If you have some free time, you can visit the Changbai Mountain Natural History Museum in town, or watch a traditional folk opera performance at the Northeast Wind Changbai Mountain Grand Theatre. Nearby attractions like the Daxitaihe scenic area and the Magic scenic area are also worth checking out.

The Palace Museum of the Manchurian Regime is a cultural tourism landmark in Changchun that combines the dual attributes of "museum + attraction". It is currently a national first-class museum, a key cultural relics protection unit, one of the first batch of national AAAAA tourist attractions, a national patriotic education demonstration base, a national research and practice education base for primary and secondary schools, one of China's "most innovative museums", and an influential project unit of the International Council on Monuments and Sites. The Palace Museum of the Manchurian Regime is located at No. 5 Guangfu North Road, Kuancheng District, Changchun, Jilin Province. It was originally the Changchun salt warehouse in the late Qing Dynasty and later served as the official office of the Jilin-Heilongjiang Salt Tax Bureau during the early Republic of China. From 1932 to 1945, it was the imperial residence of Puyi, the puppet emperor of the Manchurian regime. In 1962, it became the Exhibition Hall of Imperialist Aggression in Northeast China and later the Exhibition Hall of the Manchurian Regime Palace. In 2000, it was officially renamed the Palace Museum of the Manchurian Regime, becoming an important site for patriotic education. In recent years, the Palace Museum of The Manchurian Regime has embraced the vision of "becoming a pioneer in innovative operations among China's museums and attractions." Through its development strategy focusing on academic excellence, creative revitalization, innovation-driven growth, and open sharing, it has achieved leapfrog progress in various operations and overall enhancement in museum management. The museum integrates six functional areas: the imperial core zone, the exhibition hall of northeast China's occupation history, the museum eye art palace, the M+ creative block, the interactive experience zone, and the administrative area. The palace museum of the Manchurian regime currently has 39 original displays of the Manchurian court including the Jixi building, Qinmin building, and Tongde hall, along with 4 large-scale permanent exhibitions and 12 thematic exhibitions. It has saved over 73,000 art pieces, including a large collection of Manchurian court relics, Japanese modern artifacts, northeastern China modern artifacts, folk relics, representative modern paintings and calligraphy, sculptures, and works by intangible cultural heritage inheritors.

The scenic area was fantastic! I explored two different routes. The shuttle bus service was excellent and very convenient; it's free after you buy your ticket. The tour guides were also very responsible, reminding me of weather changes and recommended tour times. Thumbs up! I would definitely recommend the shuttle bus service to other friends.

I found out from an online search that the top spot on the Changchun night view rankings is actually the Changchun Zoo and Botanical Garden. The night tickets are more expensive than the day tickets, so I was curious and decided to check it out. Entry starts at 4:30 pm, and the welcoming dance is very lively. The park is themed around Journey to the West, and with the lighting effects, it feels like a lantern festival. The park has stages in many places for various performances and interactions with visitors. It was my first time visiting a zoo and botanical garden and I didn't see any animals because they had already finished their get off work hours at night.

Overall, it's pretty good. Once you get there, you can rent a car. I didn't know how to drive at first, but with my years of driving experience, I learned quickly. This saves energy. You can download an app, locate yourself, and check out the attractions and waiting times. Boys might like the Dinosaur Extinction attraction, as well as some thrilling rides. Some attractions require separate fees, such as the Ice and Snow World and the Petting Zoo!

Staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel allows you to enjoy the hot springs downstairs, with unlimited access every day. The natural hot springs are excellent. Special thanks to Wang Rongmei, the staff member, for their attentive and warm service. This trip was very pleasant and highly recommended. I would love to come back again next time.

The entire scenic area is quite large. It's recommended to allow 2 hours for the Imperial Palace Museum, and the outer area also includes the Northeast Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall and the M+ Park. Therefore, it's advisable to allow at least 3 hours for the entire scenic area.

We took our kids back to China for summer vacation and had our first experience at a Northeastern Chinese bathhouse. We absolutely loved all the facilities and services. Children under 1.4 meters tall get in for free, making it incredibly good value for money. If we have the chance, we'll definitely bring our family and friends to experience this top-tier bathhouse in China!
