The Atomic Bomb Dome, also known as theAtomic Bomb Dome, was originally the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall, located on the banks of the Motoyasu River in the center of Hiroshima City. On August 6, 1945, the U.S. military dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Almost all buildings near the hypocenter were razed to the ground, but this building barely remained standing. Today, this architectural ruin is preserved as a memorial to this event and has been inscribed on the World Heritage List. You can often meet family members of atomic bomb survivors nearby, who enthusiastically share the history of the Atomic Bomb Dome and their family stories with foreign tourists in English. This is also a place frequently visited by local primary and middle school students, and peace groups from all over Japan hold memorial activities here every year. The Hiroshima City government built the Peace Memorial Park - Hiroshima around the Atomic Bomb Dome. In addition to numerous statues and monuments, the park also houses the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which displays items such as clothing, glasses, and hair that survived the atomic bombing, and is worth a visit. Every year on August 6, locals hold a lantern-floating ceremony on the Motoyasu River, releasing colorful lanterns inscribed with memorial messages and prayers into the river.

The big five-story tower (the Keep) is actually a museum. It's all about samurai history and how the city was run way back when. The exhibits are easy to follow and they’ve got some legit-looking old armor and swords.The Absolute Best Bit: Hands-On Fun!My favorite part is the interactive floor on the way up! This is where you can live out your samurai dreams. You can try on a crazy helmet or a piece of armor, but the real highlight is getting to lift a replica katana! It's surprisingly heavy, and it gives you a whole new respect for the samurai. Great picture moment, too!And once you get to the top, the views are amazing. You get a perfect look at the modern city a beautiful mix of the old history below and the new skyline all around. Totally worth the small entrance fee!

On the first floor, there is an experience corner with merchandise sales and slides. The cranes that have been collected since the museum opened are piled up, and it looks fantastic from the outside. There is also a tram running right in front of you. You can also lie down and relax at the Hiroshima Hill booth.

You can enjoy it throughout the year: cherry blossoms in spring, young bamboo in summer, autumn leaves in autumn, and snow scenery in winter. Children might not find it fun though. During the cherry blossom and autumn leaves seasons, the park is lit up and open at night. It gets very crowded during the autumn leaves season.

The torii gate is built in the sea to integrate the shrine with the ocean, symbolizing the "boundary between the realm of the gods and the human world." The submerged state of the gate under the seawater emphasizes reverence for the sea goddess, aligning with the original intention of worshipping ocean deities. There is also a statue of Lanling Wang in the harbor; the previous occupant of the island had some connection with Lanling Wang.

Very scene-like statues with pictures of lions on them, the price of exposure, above 50 dollars, in our opinion, it is definitely expensive, it must be said that if you want to visit it, it is very large and very clear, you have to consider a whole day, maybe in this way to spread the cost of entry. Despite the price, it seems crowded, although it is 13.00, there are still people queuing at the ticket office.
