Things to do in Hefeng

Compared to Enshi Grand Canyon, I highly recommend Pingshan Canyon. Don't choose the so-called "lazy person's route" with boats in and out; you still walk quite a bit, and you repeat the same route both ways, going up and down a long stretch of steps inside the cave and missing a lot of scenery! Just take the regular route; even as a lazy person, I thought it was fine. The cliffside views are absolutely stunning!

The Rongmei Tusi built a large-scale Juefu complex in Pingshan. To date, there are more than 50 sites including Juefu, Old Street, Wanquan Cave, etc., and thousands of historical relics have been unearthed.

An amazing park with some of the most breathtaking sights you'll ever see!It's generally all one way travel (depending on which route you choose) and it's well run but it can be somewhat confusing to get around, especially if you're only there for one day.I spent two days up the mountains and still didn't have time to explore even half the locations!Having a translator app to ask staff for directions or to confirm if this is the correct bus to get on is recommended but in general, for example if you want to get to Tianzi mountain you can just say "Tianzi Mountain. Bus?"The Tianzi Cableway and Bailong lift are well worth the ticket price, not just for the view but to avoid a 2hr hike uphill!If it's a misty day I recommend going along the Whip Stream. And if it's a clear day, get there early and take the Bailong Lift UP -> Head to the Avatar/Hallelujah Mountain views. Zhangjiajie's landmark is undoubtedly a must-visit place. Although it's all mountains, it's quite different from the mountains and forests in other places. Everyone should take the opportunity to go there.

Mu'er Mountain has beautiful scenery and there is a Mu'er Garden on the mountain, hence the name.

We entered the mountain at 6:30 am on October 2nd, taking sightseeing buses and cable cars all the way. After getting off the cable car, we went straight to Mushroom Rock, and then went up to Red Cloud Golden Summit. We arrived at the foot of the mountain at 9:00 am.

Visiting in August offers stunning scenery and incredibly cool weather, especially for the car surfing. The floating bridge can be crossed multiple times. The park staff are very friendly; when we couldn't explain the route clearly after driving out of the gate, they allowed us to go back in.

I loved Wulong the landscape are amazing and it’s a must see if you around Chongqing. A bit far but really worth it
