Wuyishan National Park is located in the northern section of the Wuyishan mountain range in northwestern Fujian, stretching across the border area between Fujian and Jiangxi provinces. It is one of China's first established national parks, and Wuyishan itself was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for both culture and nature as early as 1999. The park was formed by integrating the former Wuyishan National Nature Reserve and Wuyishan Scenic Area: the Tongmu area in the north focuses on ecological conservation and scientific research, preserving a rare intact mid-subtropical forest ecosystem at this latitude. The main peak of the Wuyishan range, Mount Huanggang, is also located here, and this core area does not offer regular tourism activities. Sightseeing activities are concentrated in the scenic areas along both banks of the Nine-bend Stream, namely the four major sections: Tianyou Peak to Taoyuan Cave, Nine-bend Stream to Wuyi Palace, One-line Sky to Tiger Roaring Rock, and Dahongpao to Water Curtain Cave. The attractions in the scenic area are relatively scattered with considerable distance between them. A leisurely visit typically requires two to three days. If you only have one day, start by ascending Tianyou Peak for a panoramic view of the emerald waters and crimson mountains along the Nine-bend Stream, then take a bamboo raft downstream from Xingcun Wharf. Along the way, you'll pass landmarks like Jade Maiden Peak, Great King Peak, cliff inscriptions, and suspended boat coffins. The rafting journey ends at Wuyi Palace, making it an ideal classic route. Tea enthusiasts may prefer spending time on the leisurely Rock Bone Floral Trail between Dahongpao and Water Curtain Cave. This gentle path connects core Wuyi rock tea production areas like Liuxiangjian and Huiyuankeng, offering a uniquely fragrant experience. With two days, you can cover all four major sections. For more time, consider visiting the ancient tea merchants' residences in Xiamei Village, the starting point of the ancient Tea Horse Road, or exploring the ruins of the Minyue King's City near Chengcun Village—the latter also being part of Wuyishan's world heritage site. Bamboo rafting is very popular, so please make arrangements in advance during peak season. To get close to the ecological heart of the park, you can take the Wuyishan National Park No. 1 scenic route. Places like Moon Bay and Qinglong Waterfall are suitable for self-drive or private charter. As for food, street snacks like flat meat dumplings and Vietnamese noodles are common, while Langu smoked goose and local dishes cooked with alpine bamboo shoots and mushrooms are also worth trying.China · Wuyishan

"Three Lanes and Seven Alleys" is located in the heart of Fuzhou, collectively referring to ten historic lanes and alleys lining both sides of Nanhou Street from north to south. The "three lanes" are: Shuixie Stage, Wenru Lane, and Guanglu Lane. The "seven alleys" are: Yangqiao Alley, Langguan Alley, Anmin Alley, Huang Alley, Ta Alley, Gong Alley, and Jibi Alley. "Who would have thought the recluse of Five Willows and Lone Pine would dwell amidst Three Lanes and Seven Alleys?" This entire ancient residential quarter, first built during the Ming Dynasty, has been remarkably preserved through centuries of history spanning both Ming and Qing dynasties. The neighborhood houses former residences of numerous historical figures and even features a folk culture museum. As the saying goes, to understand a city, you don't need to traverse every street—just stroll down one historic lane at a leisurely pace. Lu Xun Native Place

Lu Xun Native Place is a historic district with white walls and black tiles in the ancient city of Shaoxing, where the literary giant Lu Xun spent his youth. Many sites related to his life are now concentrated here. Lu Xun's former residence is where he was born, and the Hundred-Grass Garden behind the house was his childhood playground. The vegetable plots, stone well railings, honey locust tree, and the short earthen wall mentioned in the essay "From Hundred-Grass Garden to Three-Flavor Study" can still be seen today. Not far away, the Three-Flavor Study is located within the Shou Family Terrace Gate, where you can see the desk Lu Xun used as a student, with the character "early" carved by him still visible on the corner. The district also includes the Lu Xun Ancestral Residence where his ancestors lived, a memorial hall displaying his life story, and the Lu Xun's Literary Scenes Garden that recreates the life scenes from his works. For those who have read Lu Xun's works, this place feels more like a "literary scene" you can step into: the Tugu Temple and Jingxiu Nunnery from "The True Story of Ah Q," the Changqing Temple where he was once a nominal disciple in his childhood, and the Hengji Pawnshop where the young Lu Xun often pawned belongings after his family's decline are all nestled among the streets and alleys. When tired, you can duck into the Xianheng Hotel, take a photo with the bronze statue of "Kong Yiji" at the entrance, order a plate of fennel beans and warm a bowl of Shaoxing wine to savor the slow-paced life of Shaoxing. The street also offers local snacks like stinky tofu, or you can board a wupeng boat and let the boatman row you through the waterways to see this ancient city from a different perspective.China · Shaoxing

After reading the comments, I felt like I went to a fake Yuliao? Why did I navigate to the Yuliao Visitor Center and it said there was a paid seaside boardwalk, but there was no staff and the boardwalk was broken in the middle. Locals said it was closed (⁼̴̤̆ ㉨⁼̴̤̆  ) The big beach was also average

There's no excessive commercialization, and the bamboo raft boatmen are quite interesting and don't charge extra. A special shout-out to the "One Line Sky"! Having climbed countless "One Line Skys" across the country, only this one is truly authentic!! A place where you can calmly focus on the scenery, a truly peaceful and beautiful landscape.

Pingtan Fairy Well (East China Sea Wonderland) is truly a masterpiece of nature! Millions of waves eroded it, forming a giant natural vertical well over forty meters deep, with an opening at the bottom leading directly to the sea. At high tide, giant waves crash into the well, creating a thunderous roar—the famous "Fairy Well Roaring Waves"—a truly awe-inspiring sight. The scenic area also features Fairy Valley, where black rock walls contrast beautifully with the blue sea, creating a stunning atmosphere perfect for photos. The area remains relatively uncommercialized, preserving its pristine coastal scenery. The trails are easy to walk, making it a must-visit in Pingtan!

When visiting Fuzhou, a leisurely stroll through the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is a must. Walking on the cool cobblestone streets, looking up at the staggered saddle-shaped walls, white walls and gray tiles, you'll see the quintessential old Fuzhou. No need to rush to see the must-see spots; just wander into any alley, and you'll find ancient houses and courtyards brimming with stories. The streets are bustling with the aroma of everyday life—meat dumplings, fish balls, and peanut soup fill the air—a truly blissful experience as you stroll and savor the delicious treats.

A rain shower brought a rare moment of clarity to the bustling scenic area; a guided tour brought life to the ordinary scenery; today we were very fortunate to have our guide, Ms. Xu, lead us on a tour of Lu Xun's former residence. Her explanations were clear and logical, and her voice was gentle and soothing. The entire journey, accompanied by intermittent rain, was truly a wonderful experience.

In Shaoxing, I visited Lu Xun's former residence, Sanwei Study, and then Chen Garden, all of which are very close by and within walking distance. The garden is small but exquisite, with swaying willows, clear ponds, and pavilions scattered throughout, exuding a distinctly Jiangnan (southern China) charm. The most memorable feature was the stele inscribed with the poem "Chai Tou Feng" on the wall; the characters were clear and conveyed the poignant regret of Lu You and Tang Wan. Compared to the throngs of tourists outside, strolling through this garden was far more enjoyable.

Quzhou's ancient city has many photo spots; it's too hot during the day, so go out at night and you might encounter many NPCs. The streets are clean, and the food options depend on your preferences. There are also many exhibition halls, all of which close at 9 PM, which is very convenient.
