In the sweltering summer heat, I was torn about where to escape the heat! Comparing nearby options, and considering my 2-year-old and 7-year-old sons, the water at Water Century was too cold, so I decided on the Hot Spring Resort! We arrived at the Hot Spring Resort at 1 pm, and the kids had a blast. It wasn't as hot as I'd imagined. The resort was beautiful, with fresh air, and the whole family played until 5:30 pm, exploring everything from the children's playground to the hot spring pools. The oppressive heat of the foothills was completely gone. When it was time to go home, my older son was reluctant to leave, while my younger son's heat rash had completely disappeared! It's a great place to escape the heat, but be careful if you have a stroller—it's inconvenient to push them up and down the mountain!

The best thing we did while in York! The tour was really funny throughout, the conductor involved everyone upstairs and down. Lots of surprises and laughs along the way. Bob on the roundabout! I'll say no more! 🤣🤣🤣 the ghost stories were brilliant and midway break was fun and informative. Cannot praise this tour high enough! I highly recommend it.

Ok! Hands down! The best ghost walking tour ever!!! We go on these ghost tours every city/town we visit and we can 100% say that Davina Deathly was the most amazing guide ever! I jumped, squeaked and got scared on this tour. Very entertained and informed tour. Thank you so much for a ‘chilling’ experience.


