I appreciated that they took a photo with the illuminated temple before we entered the venue. The show was very enjoyable, with wonderful traditional music and costumes, and the story was interesting. The general seating is on stone seats, so I recommend bringing a cushion or zabuton for a more comfortable viewing experience.★

Great tour fun and yet relaxing. The abseil was exciting. The very muddy sinkhole was fun (our guide gave us headtorches) but too much time was wasted waiting for photo opportunities. Dont worry they give you wellies and should you wish there are showers (take a towel) . The tubing through the cave, with all its bats and cave formations, was very informative and on the river we had opportunities to jump in the deep river and float down river. You should do the tubing in your swimwear but take flip flops (they look after them). Showers (take a towel) are available.★

Excellent communication before the tour and our driver Eko was punctual, polite and spoke excellent English. First we visited Prambanan temple where Eko arranged a private tour guide for us. The guide spoke English well and explained a lot about the Hindu gods and stories as we walked around the temple. Afterwards, we went to the Marapi Volcano area for the jeep tour. Unfortunately the weather was very cloudy so we didn’t have good views of the volcano but it was fun to have the jeep ride.
Then, we drove to Borobudur area where we had a lunch stop before visiting the temple. At all times Eko looked after us, sorting entrance tickets and keeping us informed of timings. At Borobudur, we toured as a group and it does feel a little touristy but this is the rule of the temple so there isn’t an alternative. Really interesting though and some amazing views and photos from the top. All in all we had a great day and I would highly recommend borobudursunrise.com and their driver Eko.★

Let's start by saying my friend and I had a fantastic day! We booked our Borobudur and Prambanan access tickets a few days before going, but only noticed the night before that some things are only available to people who book guided tours, which were already sold out. Not only did we get access to the guided tours, got to see everything, had a great lunch, but we were also driven everywhere by our lovely guide Yus! The package is fully worth it for the travel and company alone, no headache! We booked at 2300 (11PM) the night before going, and the pickup was at exactly 0800, as promised :)★

I joined this tour solo and really enjoyed it. My guide, Seta, was polite and friendly, and helped me take photos at every place we visited. The day I went was cloudy, so I didn’t get to see either the sunrise or sunset, but it didn’t spoil the experience at all.
After visiting Borobudur, we went on a jeep ride — we visited a volcano eruption museum, saw a lava rock shaped like a face, and drove along the river. After that, we had a coffee break before heading to Prambanan just in time for sunset.
Overall, I had a great experience and wonderful memories from this tour.★

We had really wonderful trip to Borobudur and Pramanan. Our driver + guide, Mr Dani is very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained us a lot about the history of Indonesia, Borobudur and Pramanan. Excellent sevice. Strongly recommended.
