The August aurora wasn’t cold, and it was an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Mo, was absolutely the best and took fantastic photos for us. He knew exactly where to go to get the best views of the aurora. Even though it had rained during the day and the evening skies were cloudy, Mo tirelessly searched for the perfect spots where we could still enjoy clear views of the aurora. So we enjoyed strong aurora! When we started feeling cold midway through the tour, he led us to a warm and beautiful lodge where we could recover with hot coffee and cocoa. He also gave us great tips on places to visit the next day. If I ever come back to Yellowknife, I would definitely join his aurora tour again.

Tracy is the best. She's very friendly and strives to provide everyone with the best local recommendations. Our group was very small (4 people), and we were fortunate enough to see the bison crossing the road.
