I bought the Mangrove Island + Mangrove Forest package; you absolutely must buy the package, otherwise going to the mangrove forest alone is too much of a hassle, requiring a 1.5-hour drive each way. The overall itinerary was well-organized, with door-to-door pick-up and drop-off.
Mangrove Island is beautiful and worth a visit.
I didn't see any proboscis monkeys at the mangrove forest, but there were many fireflies, and the guide was engaging, making for a pleasant experience.
