We took the tour from Krakow to Auschwitz and Wieliczka Salt Mine. Overall this was one of the best tours we have ever taken. It is very long day but we were never hurried. The pace was relaxed with lots of opportunities for snacks and lunch on the bus. The sale mine is an absolute gem. You are on a guided tour for about 2.5 hours that leads you to many chambers in the mine. Imagine a cathedral carved out of salt! In the afternoon we drove to Auschwitz. This is a once in a lifetime experience to visit this well preserved museum. The guide explained the gruesome experience of the prisoners. I would highly recommend this tour.
