A fantastic tour with a drive between the dunes and the sea, and through the dunes to the Sandwich Harbour lagoon. Marius (owner and guide) was great, punctual, informative, and absolutely customer-oriented.

MC Tours was easy to work with via email. We were met at our pickup site by Leon, and we told him what we had already seen and what we hoped to do and see with him. Leon was very responsive, and as we drove throughout the day, his knowledge of the region was on full display. A really good day trip into the magnificent Namib Desert.

Our trip to Sandwich Harbour with SunSail was an absolute highlight of our trip! We drove through breathtaking dune landscapes in a 4x4, where the sea and desert meet in a striking way. A special thank you goes to our driver, Berti, who not only had perfect control of his vehicle but also the dunes! With plenty of experience, humor, and fascinating information about the region, he guided us safely through the adventure. We felt in good hands at all times – and had a lot of fun! The drive through the steep dunes was spectacular, and the view of the Atlantic was simply magical. A dream for photography enthusiasts too! Conclusion: Anyone visiting Namibia shouldn't miss this trip. Highly recommended – and if possible, ask for Berti! 😉

Amazing experience! The guides are very friendly and professional, and the views were breathtaking. It's very hard to fail with such beautiful nature! Highly recommendable! Also, Conrad is a great dune driver and a very cultured guide; we loved chatting with him!

Walvis Bay, Namibia. We booked a private tour for just the two of us. Catherine found Alex. on Trip Advisor .After meeting him we knew he was the one . On the way to Namibnaukluft Park we passed what I believe is where all the salt in The world is produced . We saw a mountain range of salt, flamingos, seals, beaches of red sand and even a few Jackels. Entering the park we were confronted the largest sand dunes we had ever seen. The vistas from the top of those dunes was incredible. At the end of the day we were served a gourmet lunch, as he put it, “in his home.” On a side note, upon my request, Alex turned the SUV into a dune buggy and gave us an unbelievable ride through the towering dunes. If you ever find yourself in Walvis Bay, Namibia get up with him. Just a super nice guy and a great guide

My friends & I enjoyed this scenic & fun experience. The lunch, with bubbles, was very nice. The drivers are very professional & experienced. The return trip through the dunes is quite thrilling. To note for future people booking the afternoon trip, is that the "lunch" isn't until about 3:30pm. Also check on tide times, because at near high tide, the vehicles can't get all the way along the beach and the tour stops short of Sandwich Harbour. The other important thing to note is the seating arrangement of thier Toyota Fortunars. They carry up to 7 passengers. The primo seat is up front, next to the driver. Obviously, you have way better views & photo opportunities here. The next best are the outside seats in the next row, where you're by a large window that opens. If you're in the back row or middle seat of 2nd row, your experience isn't as good (if I'd been seated here for whole time my rating would have been 2-3). You & your companions need to set up a roster to take turns & swap around at stops.


