We had a great day on this tour. We were picked up in Ho Chi Minh City and went by bus to see the Cu Chi tunnels from the Vietnam War. It was very interesting and informative, and the guide explained a lot. Walking inside the tunnels was amazing - very narrow and unforgettable.
After that we had lunch, and it was a big surprise: a lot of food and everything was very tasty. Then we went to the Mekong River and had a nice boat ride, which was really fun. We also saw how coconut candies are made and visited a small honey farm.
Our guide Luis was excellent. He was very friendly, helpful, answered all our questions, and clearly cared about making the tour enjoyable. We really appreciated his effort. Highly recommended!★

Overall, the itinerary was good. The only slight disappointment was that our group wasn't given the option to kayak; we were just given a boat tour instead. Some members of our group booked through local travel agencies at the last minute, and the platform price was 50% more expensive than booking directly locally. They felt the current price was really not worth it.★

The best option to get to know the history of Vietnam and spend time outside of the city. A great blend of nature, outdoor activities and traditional Vietnamese experience. I especially liked the hike, the views, the boat trip and the Pagoda - beautiful places (with all the guide's insides and stories). Both the guide and the driver were very professional and friendly. The trip went smoothly in a pleasurable atmosphere. Totally recommended. Ps the buffet lunch was yummy and with many options to choose from. As a vegetarian I had no issues as well.★
