Hello, I attended the show "Light of Creation" on August 18th. The idea is brilliant, and the Votivkirche is an ideal building; it is capable of providing an uplifting feeling in and of itself. The execution was certainly technically perfect, and the show felt like it lasted longer than 30 minutes. I particularly liked sequences where the lighting emphasized the building's structures. My only comment would be that sometimes less would have been more, or I would have preferred a dynamic range from pianissimo to fortissimo. Both the music and the accompanying images overwhelmed me at times; there was too much in a short time. I still remember the countless animals sweeping across the ceiling; I would have preferred individual animals, growing in number until they became a herd or a mixture, thus visually increasing the effect rather than a tsunami. Nevertheless: Chapeau!
