A driver picked us up from the hotel at 7 a.m., and there were just the two of us in the car. We arrived at the border, where we transferred to a safari jeep and drove to the national park. There weren't many animals at first, but they became more active around lunchtime. We saw lots of elephants, giraffes, impalas, and even a lioness. Then we were taken to lunch. After that, we went on a boat safari. We saw crocodiles, hippos, and elephants. Then we drove back to the border, where our driver was waiting for us. Everything was great.

This was a perfect trip on the Zambezi. It wasn't too long, the tour operator took great care of you with snacks, drinks and good information about the river. We were lucky to have their small river cruise boat to ourselves which worked out perfectly. It also meant that we had a personal touch from our boat captain and hostess on board. I couldn't fault this excursion. It wasn't too long (2 to 2.5 hrs onboard), you had drinks included (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and some small snacks available. The scenery was relaxing and a bonus with hippo's, crocodiles and a few birds to add to the enjoyment. The real hero though was the sunset.

Everything was fine, the only thing we were a little nervous about was that they didn’t contact us in advance to confirm the exact transfer time.

Fun, relaxing and extremely entertaining. Caters for wheelchair but not sure if toilets are wheelchair friendly. I didn’t see ramps going to toilets, only stairs. You’re ushered to your table, given dish with water to wash hands. The food is buffet, salad table (sliced vegetables to make your own green salad, potato salad, select different types of meats, gets grilled while you wait. Dessert table with lots of options including Malta pudding and custard. It was awesome and refreshing… In between dinning, there are breaks of entertainment, dancing, singing, drum beats and engaging with all guest, young and old. Guests are given the opportunity to play the drums and at the end of the show and dinner, we all make a circle and dance. An experience not to be missed by all nationalities….Book it… you won’t regret..


