Our guide was Ramiro, he speaks very well English and I could practice with him my Portuguese. He is a very good person and knows the Faial well, has a lot of interesting stories to tell. We were picked up at the location of our apartment, that was really nice because the day started with rain. We started our guide in time, together with 4 more people. I really liked the formal of a small group (we were just 6) and felt very comfortable in a group with great people. It was fun! During this day we explored the Faial island, the culture of people who live here and also shared some stories with each other about traveling and our experiences in Açores. I loved the capelinhos volcano - it was impressive and thanks to Ramiro for enough time to explore the location around. The great lunch is included in price. And the price is reasonable, it’s worth it 100%!

Very nice trip around Pico island. We got to see a lot of sights, including Pico mountain centre, the Volcano house and winemaking villages next to the ocean. We also had a nice picnic at a park with deer and a preserved old local house. Silvia was a fun guide who was very informative and told us a lot about the island’s geology, culture and flora. She also gave us enough time to spend at each of the places we saw. We recommend this tour!

It went very well! The ascent and descent are both intense in different ways, but the guide (Isabel) always helped with tips to make the most of the experience. She was always concerned to see if we were okay, and when she saw we were getting more distressed, she called us closer to her – it really helps to see where she puts her feet. She even helped with a small bandage on my foot, which made all the difference in the middle of the mountain. I recommend it! But always keep in mind that it's a good idea to be in good physical shape (without neglecting your mental fitness).
