Reviews: From Mérida:Uxmal and amazing cenotes guided tour with lunch
Guest User2026-01-11
Jorge was absolutely brilliant. Engaging, friendly, helpful and very passionate about the history and biodiversity of the area. Uxmal itself is incredible. Beautifully preserved and looked after, and it was not too busy. Jorge really brought the place to life with his knowledge and was able to answer all of our questions. The cenotes were amazing. Much more remote than expected, which was nice. The water wasn’t cold, and I’d recommend bringing a snorkel if you have one because they are very cool. Lunch was good, although I’d recommend bringing some snacks to keep you going between an early breakfast (if you had one) and lunch (which isn’t a massive portion). Overall, we really enjoyed and would recommend to everyone.
Reviews: Uxmal and Kabah Ruins Tour with Chocolate History

Such a beautiful and magical place. I loved it more than Chichen Itza. The grounds were lovely and the ruins extensive. The guide gave very informative explanations.
Reviews: Mérida: Uxmal, Cenote and Chocolate Museum Choco-Story

We enjoyed it very much, especially the option to visit the Choco-hiistory museum after Uxmal, instead of another site (we are traveling with children). Miguel, the guide, was knowledgeable, pleasant and allowed for some flexibility when needed.
Reviews: Uxmal and Choco Story Private Tour
Guest User2024-06-16
Vicente is such an amazing guide. His vast knowledge of Mayan history was such a gift. My daughter (16) and I (mom) felt so taken care of by Vicente and Alejandro the driver. They always made sure we had snacks and water, and even provided us with a chilled cloth for our faces after touring Uxmal in sweltering heat. The private tour allows you to go at your own desired pace. Uxmal was an amazing site and allows you to be up close and personal with the ruins. Choco Story is a bit of a museum feel with an animal sanctuary added. The chocolate ceremony and tasting was very nice. Lunch was also delicious at a nearby restaurant. We cannot thank Vicente and Alex enough for our incredible day trip! So worth every penny!
