Fantastic tour, picked us up from our hotel, had all the tickets so we just breezed through. Full of knowledge presented in an easy manor. Made tgd ehold experience very enjoyable. We have never been here so we thought we should get a guide and a driver - reasonably priced - I forgot to tick guide when booking but this was quickly resolved once I realised day before . Our guide was professional but also kind and had a great sense of humour - quickly gauged what we wanted to see and hear about - must mention the driver silent but punctual always and always opened the car door …… nice - Don’t hesitate in booking !

This is organised through the NGO Seva Mandir, working to improve communities in villages around Udaipur. We had a very nice wander through the village with Himmat who also lives in Delwara. It was fascinating to see a rural working village and Himmat made it very interesting, and answered all our questions. Several women are employed in the workshop making a variety of lovely garments and furnishings and I loved that their young children were happily playing together nearby. There’s a shop selling a good selection of things made in the workshop. This trip to Delwara could be combined with a visit to Ekling Ji shiva temple, and the archeological site of Nagda, it’s an excellent easy trip outside of Udaipur.


