The connection is very good; there were no issues with the installation; it worked throughout the entire trip. Naturally, if you enter a tunnel, the reception will be almost nonexistent. Tokyo, Osaka, Kawaguchika—the reception was excellent everywhere. I was a little confused during the installation at first. I turned it on before leaving Russia, about five minutes before takeoff, so that I would have a connection when I landed in Japan. I was a little scared when something went wrong with the installation, but in fact, it wouldn't load because I wasn't in Japan yet.

I was flying to Japan for the first time and didn't want to waste time searching for a local SIM card. I bought an eSIM for both phones and installed it before departure—the whole process took literally just a few minutes. If you didn't have time to activate it in advance, don't worry. Many planes have Wi-Fi on long-haul flights, and you can definitely connect to the internet at a Japanese airport and easily set everything up. Our connection worked immediately after landing. The internet is fast and stable; we used it every day for navigation, translation, messaging, and social media—no problems at all. Among the downsides: I didn't immediately figure out how to install the second eSIM on my other phone. It took a bit of trial and error, but in the end, everything worked out. I immediately bought a 15-day plan and haven't regretted it for a second. It's very convenient, especially if you don't want to bother buying physical SIM cards in another country. I definitely recommend it!

It was a very interesting trip to Japan, but I probably won't be going back anytime soon. My company's project there for this year has been successfully completed. Thanks to Ctrip for recommending the SIM card, the speed is so fast!

I thought I'd signed up for a different amount, so it wasn't entirely clear, but even so, we had more than enough and haven't had any problems. Plus, it was by far the cheapest plan. So highly recommended.
