Our tour guide, Elizabeta, was very knowledged and had answers for all our questions. One unique thing about this tour was that she made it very personable, interacting with tourists and trying to remember our names. Corinth is a must see for both believers in Jesus as well as non believers. Very intriguing. This is also where I learned why some statues have no head - come find out yourself. Also, Nadplion is the cleanest city I have ever seen in my life, and I travel at least once a year. Thank you for putting this tour together

It was a very good travel experience. Our tour guide, Angela, has excellent leadership and language skills. She introduced each attraction in English before we arrived. We were also provided with a Chinese translation device on this trip, so it was a great experience overall.

I had a fantastic tour with Alex and our driver who got us everywhere safely and right on time to beat the big bus crowds. We were a group of ca. 13. Make sure before you book though to understand that this is a self-guided tour. Alex does not accompany the group through the archaeological sites or gives explanations there. He answers all questions in the van and gives a good overview about the sites and the history surrounding them beforehand. Then you do explore on your own in your own place. I had a lot of fun and I enjoyed this tour.

wonderful experience with Getaways Greece. Excellent communication between tour company, tour guide and ourselves. Debbie our tour guide and Patti, our museum guide were very knowledgeable, and articulate. Patti & Debbi were entertaining and funny with stories behind every exhibit. Our small group consisted of ten people, Debbi had a small quiz on the bus which was fun and made for a very entertaining trip from start to finish. Transportation was very comfortable and spacious. Every stop on the tour was worth it. Nafplio was especially breath taking. Overall, great tour, great price and great pace. highly recommend. (mother/daughter trip 10/8/2025).

I had heard the legend of Homer’s epic Trojan War as a child, and I didn’t expect to visit one day’s base camp of Maichen. I feel particularly excited whenever I think of myself walking among a legendary city. The overall itinerary was roughly the same, but the afternoon suddenly inserted 20 minutes of shopping spots, selling olive oil and wine, the itinerary introduction did not mention at all...
