This day tour was great for a few reasons.
So happy not to have driven this road ourselves in terms of finding parking up there and we were collected and dropped off at our accommodation
The tour guide Hary was very informative and knew where to stop to show us the most beautiful spots along the way, he also advised us on many other things to make the trip easy and comfortable. He gave us a lot of info about the environment
The short walks were great !! Which we would not have seen or done if driven ourselves
The cruise on the smaller boat was the best, not overcrowded and just absolutely beautiful
Overall , totally worth the money spent !

I would like to commend Pure Milford for allowing me to change my tour a day earlier due to weather. I contacted Backpacker Deals two days prior because many people in Queenstown were disappointed that their tour had been cancelled due to risk of avalanche. They didn’t help me and told me that my tour was still going on the day that I booked which was 100% chance of rain. I literally contacted Pure Milford in transit from Queenstown to Te Anau in email praying someone would respond and they did. They had two seats open the same day that I arrived and allowed me to change. If not, I would have missed this very valuable opportunity of my life. Brendan is an excellent driver with a nice sense of humor thoroughly explaining everything along the way making everyone laugh and enjoying themselves with music. I thoroughly enjoyed my bus tour with him and the various stops along the way. Their boat tour on a catamaran was awesome! Lots of room to view from various areas. I highly recommend this tour. You won’t regret it!★

Our family had a great day with Jonathan. His knowledge of the local area, history & Māori stories were just as good as the cruise in Milford. It is a long and treacherous drive in winter- and the decision to take a tour rather than drive ourselves was well worth it. We would never have pulled over where Jonathon did and would have missed all the amazing photos, and multiple Keas without his expertise! He (and all the other passengers) were amazing with our 5yo who said “the tour captain” was the best thing about the day- even better than the boat!
All the stops were well thought out, the scones were the envy of everyone else during the cruise around Milford. Leaving from Te Anu meant an earlier cruise that misses the large bus groups so plenty of seats and room to see in & out as the dolphins & seals popped up beside the boat. Thank you to Jonathan & all at Fiordland Tours!★

This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to New Zealand. I really enjoyed this and actually was better than expected. We had a lot of fun and had a very good day out on the water exploring and enjoying the jet boats. This is a really exciting and wonderful way to spend an afternoon or morning! Wish I had one of these at home just to play around with their blast! We had kids on our tour and they had as much fun as the adults and it was perfect for both.
