Reviews: Kuo-Kuang Bus 1819-Taipei to Taoyuan Airport Round Trip Ticket
Guest User2025-09-23
I usually take the train when going from Taoyuan Airport to downtown Taipei, but I wanted to save a little money and had some extra time, so I took the bus for the first time. 🚌💨
By booking in advance on trip.com, you can get a short ride. ⭕️
This time, I was in Terminal 1, and the bus ride was on the first basement floor.
When I went to the Kuo-Kuang Bus counter, there was a staff member there, so I told him I'd already booked online and he issued me a round-trip ticket.
It was a weekday, so it was pretty quiet, which made me a little nervous, but the journey went smoothly. 😉
There was a bus timetable nearby, but for some reason, the time given at the counter was about 5 minutes off. Maybe it was a difference between the arrival and departure times?
Either way, it was about 15 minutes later, so I bought some drinks at the nearby 7-Eleven and joined the line outside.
The bus was relatively spacious, but some seats had broken power outlets, so if you want to use an outlet, you may need to be careful. (^-^)💦
For the return trip, I boarded the bus from the Taipei Main Bus Terminal, and I took the 3:00 AM bus.
I was a little worried about whether I'd be able to get on, but since it was a weekday, I was able to get on without any problems. 🙆
If you're worried about crowds, there are chairs available for those lining up in front of the bus stop. Arriving 15-20 minutes before departure increases your chances of finding a seat, so I recommend arriving early!

Reviews: [International travelers only] frequency rides | Taiwan High Speed Rail Pass | Flexible 2-day pass, 3-day pass | Must-buy for Taiwan self-guided tour(booking required one day in advance)
Guest User2025-08-17
It's a good value for money, as you can get your money's worth just by traveling from Taipei to Tainan. If you're staying in Taipei and taking the Taiwan High Speed Rail, this is a must-buy. Even if you don't get a reserved seat, you can just use your passport and pass through the ticket gates and get on the unreserved seat.
