I'm a solo female traveler, and I took the Sun Moon Lake day tour as the main attraction of my stay in Taichung. In the end, I was completely satisfied! The reviews were all so positive that I was a bit skeptical, but I'm glad I did. My guide, Ben, speaks English, but he also guided me in Japanese using a translation app and LINE, so I was able to enjoy the tour without any worries. Since I was traveling alone, I didn't take any photos of myself, but we were blessed with good weather and the beautiful scenery, so I was able to take lots of photos, which became wonderful memories. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is undecided about what to do.

I used it from Tainan to Taoyuan. I reserved a time in advance on the official website and headed to the station. When I showed my passport and reservation number at the ticket counter, they asked if I wanted to change the time, and when I told them I was fine with leaving it as it was, they issued me a paper ticket. They spoke simple Japanese and English. The interior of the car was air-conditioned, making for a quiet and comfortable trip.
