I decided to visit Strasbourg just so I could go on this bus tour and it did not disappoint! Our lovely tour guide Roxanne was very knowledgeable, and I learned a lot of interesting, fun, and cool things throughout the day. I loved that it was a small group tour and at all the places we visited there was the opportunity to go off and do our own thing. The day started at 9am and we arrived back at around 5:30pm - a busy yet fun and exciting day! We visited Colmar, Eguisheim, Riquewihr and Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg, driving along the wine route and seeing various vineyards. The weather turned out to be very good indeed, even though it was forecast to be cloudy with some showers. We were lucky. Thoroughly enjoyed.★

Roxanne was our tour guide and driver. She arrived to the meeting place on-time and took our group of 8 to a family winery. The owner of the winery talked to us about the process of wine making and showed us the fermentation tanks and bottling equipment. Next we went into the tasting room where we tasted 6 wines. Roxanne provided the translation from French to English. We drove about 30 minutes and were able to see the distant mountains and vineyards. Our second stop (maybe another 30-40 minutes) was at a wine co-op that includes 200 small vineyards. We tasted about 8 wines including a delicious Grand Cru Riesling. The tour was about 5 hours due to some slowed traffic. Roxanne was informative and friendly and our group got along well. She was able to drop us at the square which was much closer to our hotel.★

Scenic and informative tour a definite MUST SEE TOUR. Not only for the history but for the beautiful scenery. From the historic mineral hot springs of Baden- Baden, to the scenic views of the wine vineyard and altitude views of the Black Forest (1000 feet above sea level). Also to get to the Black Forest you will travel on the famous Autobahn.
If you’re lucky to get Willy as your guide you will have an even more enjoyable experience.
If you can only afford one trip this is it. It’s an all day event, and it is slowly paced so it is suitable for all ages and physically fit levels. From the hiker to the older senior citizens this is a can’t miss tour. 5 stars.★

Our family group of six enjoyed our guide Thiery who was extremely knowledgeable about the area. and knew the best eating and viewing places to take us. One member of our group was using a knee scooter so long staircases were a difficulty. Thiery was able to help us navigate so that we did not have to miss out on the highlights of the trip. We had an amazing time.
