I would 100% recommend this tour. Ivana was so helpful and friendly, we couldn't have asked for a better guide. It's a good idea to bring food with you as the food at the Plitvice lakes was expensive/ didn't look that appetising. Most of the walking around the lakes is on bridges which are made of wooden slats (some with small gaps between the slats), there are always hand rails but in some places it's a bit wobbly. Out of the 4 or so hours at the park, we spent around 2 hours walking and the rest on a train, boat or in cafes. Ivana took us to the best viewpoints. There were frequent toilet stops. We really enjoyed this tour, it's a magical place.

The lakes are fantastic, even more so. But more than a tour, it's a race! Not being a local and not a guide, I can't say if it was actually the right pace to complete the route in time. The distance from Split to Plitvice certainly didn't help! It's still an experience of a lifetime.
