I have two smartphones, so I thought I'd only need to put an eSIM in one, but in the end I put one in each. Since 1GB per day per device is generally sufficient, I thought it was a good deal at around 1000 yen per device for 10 days. Setup was quick and easy, and the signal was almost problem-free. I used it when sightseeing in Zurich. The setup process involved opening the voucher sent via email, taking a photo of the QR code with another device, and scanning it on the device I was using, or opening the URL and scanning it. It was easy to set up. While it might depend on the location, I was able to use it in Liechtenstein, which is next to Switzerland, as it picked up Swiss signals. (Although I only used it for Google Maps.)★
