This was one of the highlights of our Florida trip! We booked a clear kayak tour at Silver Springs and were pleasantly surprised with a private tour led by Joël from Silver River Kayak Adventures. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel really personal. The water here is unbelievably clear — like paddling over glass. We spotted turtles, fish, a few alligators, and even a manatee grazing peacefully beneath us. Absolutely magical. The tour was about 1.5 hours long and moved at a relaxed pace, giving us plenty of time to soak in the surroundings. The clear kayak made it feel like we were floating in the spring, not just on top of it. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Florida’s natural beauty up close.

This tour to Silver Springs State Park was the perfect mix of relaxation and discovery! It felt like stepping into a hidden piece of Florida history. I loved that there was plenty of free time to explore the park at my own pace. Whether you’re into hiking, or just enjoying the peaceful scenery, there’s something for everyone. The pickup and drop-off were smooth and convenient, and everything ran on time. I would like to take a moment to express my appreciation to our tour guide, who was exceptionally friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He managed the group with ease, maintained a well-paced schedule, and created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day.

Love it!!! You DO NOT need to come 1.5 hours before. Maybe they meant 15 min before. We loaded 10 min before the departure time. The guides, Jenna and Claire, were great. They made the trip memorable, fun, and informative. The river itself is awesome inspiring. We didn't get to see any manatees, it's more likely to see them November to March, but we got to see some gators and other wild life. The boardwalk way is also very pretty to see the fish through the clear water. Plus try the Blue Springs Pizza near the entrance of the park. It's so good. And they have lunch specials.

Beautiful surroundings! Wonderful to be on and in the water in the warm weather. Guide Jimmy is very knowledgeable about the area, the animals, and the plants. Highly recommended if you're staying in Orlando.


