When we are planning the trip to Azerbaijan, we have found this tour company , Lamia was such a good organiser easy to communicate with and flexible. our guide was Jamal and he also did a very good job showing us around the places we went and our driver took us to the places safely and he was kind enough to stop at the places we requested, everything went smoothly from beginning to end .

This trip to Guba, Khinalig, and Candy Mountains was one of the best we have ever done. This is in large part because our guide, Leyla, was so fantastic. She clearly has a positive and professional connection with every person involved in this trip, from the drivers all the way to the family whose home we visited. The mountain village provided some of the most stunning views we have ever seen and we wished we could have stayed the night. This trip is a MUST DO and specifically with Leyla.

A long day trip (as expected). The scenery was varied and interesting. We travelled along the dry Caspian coastline to the Five Finger Mountain. Our next stop was the Candy Cane Mountains, a structure of layers of red and light grey mudstone. We then started to climb up into the mountains through wooded areas. As we increased in elevation the trees fell away to very steep open grassed hills and mountains. Most of this time we followed a river, sometimes driving through very steep walled valleys, only about 30 metres wide. We stopped a few times to take in the stunning scenery. We arrived at Khinalug, a quaint little village punched on the side of a mountain. We were welcomed into a local house and shared a delightful local lunch. Afterward we walked through the village before starting our trip back to Baku. Our guide, Servi, was very personable, helpful and was able to answer most of our questions. She provided an interesting commentary throughout the trip, while pointing out places of interest and facts about Baku and our trip.
