A must-do excursion if you're visiting Djerba. Exploring the hinterland was truly fantastic. The journey is rather long throughout the day, but the driver stops regularly, so it goes relatively smoothly. The bus was comfortable, and the driver was excellent (smooth driving). Tataouine, Chenini, the salt lake, etc... Meals are included, but drinks, tips, or any purchases made during the visits are not. Pick-up is directly from your hotel, which you should mention before your trip—a very convenient feature. One thing I don't understand here in Tunisia is the grouping of people or the services, which can vary slightly depending on whether you book the excursion through your hotel, here, or elsewhere, whether it's a scheduled visit or the duration of the trip. We were in two buses, with about 25 people. Verdict: it's well worth the trip; you just have to let yourself be carried away by the culture and the change of scenery. 😉
