The driver and guide Joe is a really wonderful person. We were a group of 5 people and he helped us a lot. One of us is a person in a wheelchair, so he helped even with it coz he had to move in such a wheelchair for half a year.★

Had an amazing time on this food tour! We hit some hidden local spots with super tasty and authentic food. Our guide Laura was great — really knowledgeable and fun. Besides eating, we also explored People’s Park, Suzhou Creek, and the Bund, with lots of cool stories along the way. Super chill vibe, learned a lot, and saw a whole new side of Shanghai. I just want to say, wow! I spent a lot of time comparing the tours in Shanghai online. After a really long research this tour really stands out from the rest. As an experienced traveler, I always look for a true local experience. My guide Laura was super knowledgeable and showed me a lot of the places where I saw very few other tourists. The tour balanced it very well with must-see attractions like the Yu Garden. Although there were a lot of people in the garden, Laura still managed to let me learn something new. And my favorite part is the local market for lunch. Laura took me to a local market and I was in queue with locals for some really delicious local food. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cultural tour.★

A truly wonderful travel experience! It was my first time in Shanghai, and the French Concession was my top choice. My guide Laura, was warm, friendly, and shared many fascinating stories about China. The whole tour had a very smooth pace — we walked, had a coffee break, and even tried some hands-on activities. For example, we made a lacquer fan in a local studio, which was such a fun and unique experience! I highly recommend this tour!
