My partner and I had an incredible time doing the cooking class! Fiona our guide was brilliant, giving so much insight into Chinese culture and cuisine as she showed us around the local markets. Li Li the chef was clear in her demonstrations and we were so happy with how the noodles came out! It was very special to sit and enjoy the meal together along with other local cold dishes and warm tea - a definite highlight of our time in Xi’an! Thank you! :)

We had a wonderful evening with Amber in the Muslim district. The stops were well chosen, the food authentic and delicious, Amber was welcoming, enthusiastic & very informative. Thank you! Note that the booking process was not helpful and that the tour started 30 min before with a different guide than stated on the info we had received. Amber did get us fully caught up fortunately.

The Tang Dynasty show in Xi'an was a truly wonderful experience. The booking process was smooth and straightforward. When the show on our chosen date was cancelled, the organizer promptly contacted me via WhatsApp and helped me reschedule it for another date—everything was resolved quickly and easily. The show itself was truly colorful and spectacular, with impressive costumes and beautiful music. It was a wonderful cultural experience and a wonderful addition to my Xi'an experience.

This is a stunning show, a must-see in Xi'an (surprisingly, there's little information about it online in both Russian and English). It's easy to get to the theater by metro (it's a 10-15-minute walk from the metro station) or by taxi. Inside, I recommend bringing a translator headset (the staff found me in the crowd and offered it). It's free, but you'll need to leave a deposit, which will be returned after the performance. The translator provides information before each act and greatly simplifies understanding what's happening on stage (the show itself is only in Chinese; there are no subtitles on the screens).


