Because my China Eastern Airlines e-card was about to expire, I chose a flight from Shanghai to Kunming. I've always loved group tours; they're hassle-free and I can travel with different friends. This trip was no exception: Family #1: A cheerful young couple from Shanghai (one chubby, one thin) Family #2: A family of four from three generations in Hangzhou who had just finished their college entrance exams and were traveling all over the country Family #3: A loving young couple from Shanghai dressed in blue And our family #4: My best friend's family The chubby girl and tour guide were both strong and enthusiastic, and reminded me of a former colleague from western Fujian. Zhishilamu Zhuoma was a kind and gentle older sister who was prone to altitude sickness. And the driver, who always arrived at the stops before the other groups, quietly made the journey. These travel companions, along with the breathtaking scenery and the blazing sun, remain in my beautiful memories of Yunnan. I also hope that my friend will be happy after this trip and find a good job soon.

The internet worked well in Istanbul and Italy (Rome, Naples, Venice, Florence, Pisa). Even during long trips between cities, the signal was good, and I could send photos and videos without any problems. I did lose connection a couple of times in Rome, but restarting my phone fixed the issue. 5GB per day was enough for two people; I could have used less. I recommend it.
