Reviews: Vineyard Tour with Wine Tasting within Nice city borders
Guest User2024-09-12
Beautiful experience . Our tour guide, Julia, was very informative, smart and kind. She showed us the mountainside, the vineyard and inside and outside of the chapel. The tasting room was a really cool old crypt that had been decorated and redone. After our tour was over, we purchased some wine and sat on the beautiful terrace overlooking an amazing view..

First off, saw some great fish, but the customer service was outstanding. We were welcomed on board immediately and once we were snorkeling after a great demo they took photos for us. Funny crew, it made our trip at the end when they hit a star pose with me.

A triumph! This weekend trip was planned around the main activity, visiting the vineyards…and it was so worth it!!! A fabulous VIP experience, learning about the process of making wine to the final step of consuming the product itself. The venue was truly beautifully decorated and arranged, everything was fresh and delicious and the different types of wine and beverages just divine! It was a real joy to see how he was taking pride and care in the business he and his family have created, it’s so refreshing and wonderful to witness, we felt proud of him and wish him every success! A successful family business that I would highly recommend and it’s definitely worth visiting and staying for a couple of days at their b&b too for some much needed agritourismo. Would highly recommend and would come back to do it all over again!
Reviews: Nice Food Tour – A Full Taste of French Riviera by Do Eat Better
Guest User2025-05-25
This walking/eating/drinking tour of the heart of old town Nice was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Camille, was a delight and very knowledgeable about the subject matter. We visited five great locations on the tour, starting with a place that had excellent olive oil and vinegar. We got to sample several delicious varieties. The next stop was a wine shop, where we were able to experience three different wines, along with accompanying cheese, bread, and charcuterie. That was another great experience. Next was lunch, where we shared a platter of Socca (traditional Nice snack, sort of a cross between flatbread and a pancake. It's made with olive oil and chick pea flour), pizza, pissaladiere (sort of a French pizza common to Nice. It's an onion tart with anchovies, olives, and herbs), olive tapenade, poivronade (roasted red pepper dip), panisse (look like French fries made with chickpeas), and beignets. There was more than plenty for everyone. Afterwards, Camille gave us a walking tour of the old town as we made our way to two more food stops--one at a gelato shop and then Maison Auer, one of Nice's oldest chocolatiers. We got to sample several varieties of chocolate, all of which were delicious. All in all, this was a fun and delicious experience, made all the better by Camille. She did a great job. We highly recommend this tour.
