A must-have for Aussies traveling to Asia – huge savings compared to roaming Rating: 5/5. This was my second time using this eSIM, and I can confidently say it's a game-changer for Australians traveling to Asia. I did the math, and the cost savings are significant. To put it in perspective, I looked at the big Australian telcos' roaming fees: · Vodafone & Optus have a daily roaming rate of AUD $5 for international data. · Telstra's similar plan will cost you AUD $10 per day. For a 10-day trip, that's an eye-watering AUD $50 to $100 in roaming fees alone. Then there's the value when compared to other eSIMs. For example, a popular provider like Airalo charges around AUD $37.50 for a 10GB/30-day plan for a single country like Indonesia. I bought the SIM card for a trip to Latin America, and it worked everywhere except Bolivia, as stated in the plan. In Peru, the connection was often lost, and I had to manually select a carrier, but this could be due to the mountainous terrain. Overall, I recommend it.

In Iguazu, on the Argentina side, there was almost no internet, but in Brazil, it was good (5G). Buenos Aires had a good connection. In El Calafate, the city itself had no connection near the glacier, and there was no connection on the way to the airport. In Rio de Janeiro, it was good.


