Reviews: Skip the Line Christ the Redeemer Admission Ticket

Before writing this review, let’s make a few points clear:
1. You need to show the bar code on your phone at the ticketing booth at the CORCOVADO station in order to get your “physical” tickets. Once you have your physical tickets then you will get wrist bands to skip the line and wait for the train to take you up to the “Christ the Redeemer.”
2. The price you pay for “skip the line” includes everything! The train and the statue. No need to pay for anything else.
3. Definitely take an Uber to the CORCOVADO station. You don’t need to bother with the subway or the bus to get you there. Ubers are extremely cheap in Rio and will pick you up from anywhere.
4. Definitely get there before 8:30
The place starts to get really crowded after 9:30
5. Make sure to sit on the right side of the train going up to catch a better view and obviously the left side on the way down.★

This sunset sailboat tour was incredible! Laiane was the best host from the moment we booked our trip until the end. She offered directions and tips for our trip before we arrived and helped navigate us to the pier via What’s App. They offered beer, cocktails, N/A drinks, as well as snacks and fresh fruit through the trip. The views of Sugar Loaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer were amazing and the sunset was beautiful. We even got the opportunity to get out and swim which was surreal to be in the water during the sunset looking out at the city. The tour was everything it advertised and more!★

Carlos was informative, friendly and able to answer our questions. He gave us a good insight into parts of Rochina. The tour is however, a tourist tour, the places we visited were set up for tourists.★

Everything about the experience was perfect. Even with imperfect and very windy conditions, all of our needs were cared for. The captain is very skilled and handled the boat with ease. The first mates Jessica and Gabriel were always asking if we needed anything. They helped provide food, drink, towels and blankets. And Daniel, the captain, shared with us plenty of history of Rio and showed us all around the bay. I would highly recommend this experience.
