We were there in August. The overall impression was perfect. The trip was well planned in terms of organization and timing. The guide speaks good English, the explanation was full of interesting information. The view of Etna from different sides. The climb to 3000 m above sea level is definitely worth it. We were looking for something (without unimportant for us) snacks to get as high as possible. The trip is not physically demanding, even a smaller one can handle it. Our group underestimated the wind at the top of the volcano. At least take a windbreaker and trekking shoes. Thanks to the train, we got to know a piece of Sicily, pistachio plantations, etc. Pick-up and drop-off are possible right at the Villa Bianca hotel. We recommend

Such an amazing experience, was truly breathtaking! Our guide, Ricardo, was so knowledgeable of the area and taught us about the different plants, trees and rocks, you could really feel his passion for the local area. The views were incredible and you really get to experience the true beauty of mt Etna. We also stopped to visit an old lava cave which was fantastic. The hike was tough, with unforgiving multiple terrains and very steep up and down hill climbs, however they provide you with walking boots and sticks if needed. Ricardo also checked on me and the group throughout the hike. We finished with a lovely lunch and tried two local wines with a stunning view of the mountain. I can’t thank Ricardo enough for making this experience. Would highly recommend.

Salvatore was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and he clearly enjoys what he does. He was also super helpful with any questions we had, and gave us great tips on other stuff to do / see in Sicily! Overall an excellent experience
