Always accompanied by our guide Sery, we traveled today to the heart of the Ribera Valley, from Barca to a refreshing waterfall where we enjoyed a refreshing walk. We observed the local flora and fauna, including baobab trees, monkeys, and fruit trees. We ended our visit at a unique rum distillery where we received a very warm welcome. Great tour of Praia and Cidade Velha! Jose Bravo was a fantastic guide - super knowledgeable, very friendly, and a safe driver. We had a little extra time at the end, so he did a little detour to show us more of the city.

A morning full of discoveries, a big thank you to the very welcoming Mama Louisa. It's a shame we didn't get to try our hand at making flour. A pretty fishing village with magnificent murals. The banana plantation was a pleasant place to visit. Katia, our guide, and the driver were always available to answer our questions and were very kind and friendly.


