Elton and Francisco guides us through the history of Cape Verde and told us everything about the banana, mango and coconut plantages. It was awesome to make the local CusCuz an Fidjós, witch was made vegan specially for us. They did a great job!

It was a fantastic day. We started with the Cuz Cuz workshop at a friendly local family's home, accompanied by pleasant music. Afterward, we took a beautiful walk through a banana plantation. Finally, we bought some fresh coconuts. It was both special and scary to watch them open them (with large machetes). We enjoyed the hospitality and the beautiful surroundings.


