First was a short, easy hike through the forest to the cold soufre. It was much prettier than the photos I’d seen posted. Next we went to the old fort. We learned a little history, had some great views. The highlight was the boat ride up the Indian river. It was lovely.★

Jason, our guide, is a very good professional, very friendly and full of humor. Thanks to him, we had an exceptional day in the middle of nature and sites, each more beautiful than the last. A must-do for nature lovers, with Jason of course! Local lunch, local vegetables and fish, very good in a restaurant surrounded by nature!★

Pepper was an amazing tour guide! Picked us up from The Fort Young Hotel and gave us the best day we ever had on the island! He is so friendly and knowledgeable and his energy brought joy all day long (even to our two teenage daughters.) Hospitality is his middle name! We arrived early at the Emerald Pool and had the whole site to ourselves. It was amazing. As we left all the other tour buses were just pulling in. From the beaches to the falls, the hot springs and all the stops in between it was an unforgettable day! Even for my husband who is a born native of Dominica! Five stars, highly recommend!
