We hade an amazing time with our guide Romero showing us the best parts of the east. Including multiple viewpoints, Levada walk, a stop at a traditional restaurant, rum tasting, traditional houses in Santana with more. Romero had a good sense of humor and knowledgeable of the history of the island!!

Fabulous 8 hour trip. Superb driver who was really chatty and informative. We visited one of the mountain peaks, Santana village, did a levada walk through a unesco forest, a sky walk and a rum tasting. Lucy told us a lot about the history of the island and showed us the wonderful vegetation.

The excursion was just magical. Our guide Eduardo was an exceptional guide. He took the time to show us around small local villages where few tourists go. He also took the time to explain a lot of things to us, we felt his passion for nature and for this island. We discovered Madeira in a very different way and we are delighted. We recommend this excursion, if you want to be amazed. And as a bonus, the music in the minibus (a great playlist) A big thank you to Eduardo!
