A really lovely, charming, small-scale tour. You get lots of details and fun facts about the area. He grew up there himself, which makes it even more enjoyable with childhood memories. He's incredibly knowledgeable, not just about bananas, but also about Madeira's history, nature, and how it works. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this tour. Jake was our driver his off road driving skills were excellent. We had plenty of time at stops 20 mins each stop and 2 hours at lunch time which gave plenty of time for swimming. Our last stop we tried some wine tasting. I would recommend this tour without hesitation.

We had good bikes and had a lovely ride on very quiet roads. There were interesting explanations along the way about some local Madeira attractions. It's understandable, but also a bit of a shame, that we took the same route back. The guide looks after his group well and takes everyone into account, ensuring there are no tensions and allowing everyone to enjoy the beauty Madeira has to offer.
