Very knowledgeable 2 tour guides. Nice bus and schedule, but included lunch was too simple - a lot of rice and potato, but not any meat.

Ceser And Karina, wow what a day. I have done a few trips on different countries and this has been the best group experience. From the tour of the ruins, the swim and the turtles. The turtles were amazing, Amazing day and amazing group. I have done many different tours over the years and this was the best.
Reviews: Tulum & Coba Ruins with Cenote Swim Tour from Playa del Carmen
Guest User2024-07-16
Though, like most tours, there wasn’t much time to see all the sites this tour does cover most of it. Tulum was great and we got to see most of the temples. In Cobá we got the bicycle taxis (which I really recommend), it help us to see all the sites a lot easier as they are rather far apart. The cenote was refreshing and the food at the lunch location was genuinely tasty. The excursion made great by our fantastic tour guide Emiliano. He gave an extensive and interactive presentation on all things Mayan and even had visuals. His ability to switch from Spanish to English was unreal. He was involved in the group and helped with taking pictures and made sure there was ice for the drinks. All and all a great tour for families.
Reviews: Private Chichen Itza - No additional stops at other hotels
Guest User2026-01-09
Chema was an absolutely fantastic guide. Accommodating, kind, knowledgeable and articulate. Made the 11-hour day pass quickly. From the hotel private pick-up to a restroom stop halfway to the Ruins, the ride was easy. Our guide even stopped and bought us some fruit electrolyte drinks as my travel tummy was not the best. The Chichen Itza ruins were spectacular and we appreciated the detailed archeological, astronomical and cultural history that Chem provided. He offered to take many photos of us at the sites along the way. He even gave us guidance on bargaining with the vendors onsite for souvenirs. We beat the morning rain but had we needed it, Chema also had umbrellas (note: you might consider bringing plastic ponchos). The next journey to the Saamal Cenote was only 35 minutes by car. You had the option to have lunch first or climb the stairs down to the Cenote. You will be asked to shower outside (prepare yourself- it’s ice cold) before you make your way down to the Cenote. If you have a go- pro, I suggest you bring it as you can’t take your phone cameras down unless you have them in a waterproof cover! Bring a towel to dry off after your magnificent and brisk swim in the Cenote. Lizard watch guards cling the walls and the sun and sky looks gorgeous behind the waterfall. If you are brave, you can jump in off a moderately high platform. Kids and teens were jumping in! After you spend time enjoying the catfish and minnows and flora of the Cenote, you ascend the stairway to a delicious variety lunch with Mexican specialties and salad and fruit and dessert and drinks. Next you are brought to the town of Valladolid for some shopping and more historic views and information. Our guide stopped with us at two pharmacies to allow me to pick up some medication for my GI distress He was so courteous and accommodating. The ride home was pleasant with some rain drops and engaging conversation about culture and life and amazing destinations. A+++++. You must take the day (11-12 hours) to visit these ancient ruins and experience a unique tour with educations d time in the spiritual Cenote. Thank you, Chema

First and foremost, Pablo was an excellent guide. He was patient and explained everything about the excursion perfectly. We zip lined, rappled, biked, went through a cave with extremely clean and clear water that had stalcimites. What an adventure!! I recommend Pablo to anyone who does this excursion. Great job Pablo!!
