We bought an e-SIM and couldn't activate it at first, and we were upset we'd wasted our money. But after contacting customer support, we realized the card could only be activated once we were in Thailand, and we'd tried to do it before our flight. Thanks to customer support for their help!

Excellent. No issues at all. Bangkok and areas 200 km away (I just haven't tested any further) have good, stable internet.

Best price I could find to get an eSIM in advance for my trip to Thailand with a local number to receive calls and SMS. Once in Thailand you can download the True- dtac app and change ownership of the card to your passport. Then you should be able to get another data package even at a lower price with the same number. Top up the card in 7-eleven with cash.

I used it on my trip to Chiang Mai. I had no trouble getting around the city. I also ventured into the mountainous areas, where the signal was poor, making internet searches and social media slow. However, the map was not a problem.
