This boat tour is highly recommended. During our entertaining trip to Hole in the Rock, we were able to spot dolphins and made a stop at an island, where we hiked a small path to a lookout for a fantastic view of the islands. Both guides were absolutely charming and shared a few stories about the bay and the islands.★

One of my best experiences on the North Island. Everything was perfect: we were able to see penguins, admire a family of dolphins up close for a long time (it's magical!) and explore (barefoot or in the water for snorkeling) a bay far from the hustle and bustle. Throughout the trip, we were able to admire magnificent landscapes with explanations from the passionate captain and his assistant who gave us some additional explanations and offered us delicious little snacks and an excellent sandwich for lunch! The advantage is that there are a reduced number of people on board. This allows everyone to enjoy, chat and have quieter moments to simply appreciate the trip at sea. A perfect balance! Thank you again for these beautiful memories!★

We took a minibus with our driver, Karthik, who gave us all sorts of information, to Wharangai Falls. Afterwards, we were able to see the Hundertwasser toilet in Kawakawa before reaching Paihia after about 3.5 hours and boarding the tour boat. The trip then went first to Russell, where we didn't disembark, and then past some beautiful island bays until we reached Hole in the Rock, which we sailed through. Very beautiful! This boat trip lasted about 1.5 hours, and then we went to Otehei Bay, where we had another 1.5 hour stop and, among other things, the opportunity to swim or have a meal or drink at the island restaurant. Overall, it was a very nice trip with perfect weather, turquoise water, and beautiful islands.
