You can install it directly to your phone in the Trip app, but it is 24 hours since IOS is installed and automatically activated. However, Japanese Wi-Fi is everywhere and I am not worried about this problem. The time and traffic are also very sufficient. I bought it for 1 day.

It worked fine in metro Toronto area with mixed 4G and 5G signals. Not sure if it's common not to have signals in the Subway.


