It's very practical, but it's a bit of a loss if the railway is operating in winter. Hokkaido has beautiful scenery, but train tickets are too expensive. Using this is more cost-effective if you're visiting multiple places. However, if there's a blizzard and the railway stops, there are no refunds.

A solo trip to Hokkaido can be absolutely amazing! This "Sapporo Shiroi Koibito + Otaru + Mipai Snow Park" tour, booked just for one person, was heavenly! ✅ Shiroi Koibito Park: The chocolate factory is like a fairytale castle. Stroll through the exhibits while enjoying the sweet aroma of cocoa, and you can even DIY your own chocolate 🍫. Perfect for making souvenirs – so impressive! ✅ Otaru Canal: The canal is covered in snow in winter, complete with retro gas lamps – so romantic you'd want to film a K-drama! ❄️ The glass shops and music box shops along the street are fantastic; even the little trinkets you pick up are incredibly exquisite. ✅ Mipai Snow Park: Kids from the south went wild! Sleds, ice slides, snowmobiles… so many activities you wouldn't want to leave. Who can understand the joy of rolling around in the snow! 💡 The amazing little details that enhance the experience ▫️Group tours are perfect for those with social anxiety; no need to wait for shared rides, and the schedule is flexible and not rushed. ▫️The itinerary is relaxed yet fulfilling, with ample time for photos and enjoyment at each attraction. Amazing experience. In just 4.5 hours, we both went from absolute noobs with no prior experience to beginners, and we were already able to ride the intermediate course. Out of 20 people in total, only 5 managed to do that, so I’d say it’s quite an achievement. The price is surprisingly cheap for what you get. In other countries, the ski pass alone costs this much. Next winter, we’ll definitely go snowboarding again 🏂

The main venue for the 5th Hangzhou Lotus Festival was held at Guo Zhuang. We bought our tickets on Ctrip after arriving at the entrance, which was very convenient. The Suzhou garden design was excellent, and the lotus flowers were beautiful!


