I had the pleasure to have Jonathan ask the driver on the bus to turn off the music to set up the vibe of the trip. We got there super safe through the narrow rose of the junkie up to El charcoal, which is where we did all the activities and did a little hike before we got there. We were met by the instructor at the Parking site. Who for us was Gian, he was super knowledgeable about the animal species that run around El Yunque. He also was pretty helpful accommodating any special needs for those that were first timers to hiking in the forest he was super friendly. We also had the pleasure of having Mitchell with us who was very good helping anybody that was not strong enough to get through the hike parts up to the slide the rope jump and the cliff jump. I totally recommend for anybody that’s feeling adventurous and wants to have a day with fun staff, beautiful nature views, and with transportation included. It’s a done deal for the price. I totally recommend it - go for it. I recommend sneakers you can get wet but if not bring water shoes, remember not to wear bug spray or sun screen because it will kill the bio diversity in the river. There are basically zero mosquitoes or bugs so you don’t need any of that. Lastly, leave nothing behind to help preserve this beautiful place. Enjoy!

Had an amazing time with Danny and Amauri on the hike. Beautiful views and great adventures. I would not consider this a strenuous excursion. My 55 year old mother who never hikes was able to participate in every part of the trip without any significant difficulty.
