The day with Sonja and her family was one of the most beautiful experiences of my travels. We were embraced by tradition and a love for Macedonian cooking. The surrounding area, where the class takes place, is a relaxing setting outside the city. The pick up from Ohrid city was well orchestrated and made for an easy trip. The food, the food, well, it was delicious and true Macedonian cooking, just like Baba made it. We were sent home with treats as we could not eat all the food we cooked. I highly recommend this experience for more than a delicious meal, a peek into the soul of this amazing country.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. A very friendly and knowledgeable host at the Bacchus wine bar in Ohrid Old Town. We we enjoyed it so much we went back a couple more times and bought some Macedonian wine and Rakija! The only negative I can think of is the high seats in the bar were a bit hard on your ********** if you’re lacking padding in that area!
