Reviews: Nikko World Heritage 1-day Tour: Toshogu Shrine & Lake Chūzenji & Kegon Waterfalls & Hot Spring Bathing in Onsen Village

This trip was absolutely amazing. Toshogu Shrine is a World Heritage Site. Unlike typical Japanese aesthetics, it is resplendent and extremely luxurious, conveying behavioral principles through sculptures. The most famous is the use of monkeys to represent Confucius's teachings: "Do not look at what is improper, do not listen to what is improper, do not speak what is improper." Kegon Waterfall is crystal clear, its spray like shattered jade. Lake Chuzenji is serene and breathtaking, reminiscent of Switzerland. The Irohazaka Slope is thrilling and unforgettable. Our guide, Zhao, has superb driving skills, navigating corners with impeccable smoothness, comparable to a racing legend.
