I always use it when I come back to Japan during my trip around the world. It's easy to connect to the internet, so I can use mobile payments like Mobile Suica and Rakuten Pay.

The internet worked great in Paris. In Italy, it was worse indoors. Outdoors, everything was fine. As far as I understand, to activate the eSIM, you still need internet (Wi-Fi). Upon arrival at the airport, we connected to the airport Wi-Fi, and then the SIM card worked. But maybe I misunderstood that. Otherwise, everything is great. I can't imagine how we would have managed without it for these two weeks.
